What HVAC/R equipment needs preventative maintenance?

Residential A/C systems should be maintained once a year or more.  Commercial systems usually need more.  Don’t neglect Refrigeration or Ice Machines.  They require regular cleaning too.  However, without proper maintenance, minor issues can turn into major ones.  In other words, all HVACR equipment needs it.  

What is SEER Rating?

SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) is how efficiency of your A/C equipment is measured. It is the amount of cooling your system will deliver per dollar spent on electricity.  The higher the SEER, the more efficient the system will be.

Why should I have regular preventative maintenance? 

A/C systems work hard in South Florida all year. Constant use  can wear down any machine over time.  Proper care and maintenance is needed.

Regular maintenance maximizes the life of your A/C units.  It alerts you to potential component failures.  PM’s done regularly uncover leaks in the coil.  Our technicians clear clogged drains.  Frayed wires or corroded electrical contacts are also on the list to check.
